A six week project based in the Sam Popham Arboretum in Dambulla to document the species in the woodland, preparation of marketing materials business strategy and videos for social media and Government usage.
The arboretum is in the dry zone in Sri Lanka and our team helped dig a new water catchment area to irrigate the trees.
The monkeys are fed by people. They then think that this is the norm and expect to be fed. This monkey stole the drink and ripped the lid from the bottle.
At the gathering, the stressed elephants are surrounded by people and drivers who push their vehicles closer to get the best shots. It was sad to see more people there than elephants.
